Heat treatment : Casting shall be supplied in solution annealed condition,The heat treadment shall consist of heating uniformly to minimum tempporature of 1120°C followed by water quenching

Impact properties : The charpy V-notch impact valves 27 at -45°C of low temperature 

Used : used in lifting and tiedown for Army field vehicles
